Warranty Policy
Legal Notice & Warranty Overview
This Warranty Policy explains how SQND CITY (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles warranty claims, product defects, and post‑purchase support for watches, custom builds, modifications, repairs, accessories, and related products. This document is not legal advice and may not reflect all requirements applicable to your specific business operations or jurisdiction. Warranty laws vary across states, countries, and international regions. For legal guidance tailored to your business, consult a qualified attorney.
What Our Warranty Covers & How It Applies to SQND CITY Products
SQND CITY offers limited warranty coverage for select products, including custom watches, modified watches, accessories, and repair services. Because many of our products involve aftermarket parts, third‑party components, and custom assembly, warranty coverage may differ depending on the item and the nature of the issue.
Our warranty protects customers from defects in workmanship or assembly that occur under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.
By purchasing from SQND CITY, you agree to the terms outlined in this Warranty Policy.
Warranty Coverage, Limitations & Claim Process
1. Warranty Duration
SQND CITY provides the following limited warranty periods:
-

-
Custom or modified watches: 90‑day limited warranty
-
Repairs or service work: 60‑day limited warranty
-
Accessories (straps, bracelets, bezels, crystals, etc.): 30‑day limited warranty

Functional issues directly related to SQND CITY’s modification or installation
-
Movement issues caused by our build or repair process
-
Incorrect installation of parts during SQND CITY service
For SQND CITY‑built watches (non‑mod, original builds), the warranty also covers:
-

-
Case or dial defects
-
Crown or stem failures not caused by misuse
-
Hands or indices coming loose due to assembly error
3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
The warranty does not cover:
-
Damage caused by drops, impacts, or accidents
-
Water damage (unless the watch was pressure‑tested and rated accordingly)
-
Scratches, scuffs, or cosmetic wear
-
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or third‑party modifications
-
Issues caused by aftermarket parts not installed by SQND CITY
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Battery depletion
-
Damage caused by improper use, storage, or exposure
-
Damage caused by shipping carriers (claims must be filed with the carrier)
4. Warranty for Mods, Custom Builds & Aftermarket Parts
Many SQND CITY builds use aftermarket components sourced from multiple vendors, including international suppliers. Because of this, manufacturer warranties are not guaranteed.
To protect both parties, SQND CITY follows these rules:
-
Some aftermarket parts have no manufacturer warranty
-
Some parts have limited coverage, depending on the seller
-
SQND CITY often receives refunds instead of replacement warranties from overseas vendors
-
SQND CITY’s warranty applies only to the work we perform — not the original part manufacturer
-
If a part arrives defective from the supplier, SQND CITY will work with the customer to determine the best resolution (repair, replacement part, partial refund, etc.)
-
SQND CITY will disclose when a part has limited or no warranty coverage before beginning a custom build or modification
This ensures transparency and sets realistic expectations for custom and aftermarket builds.
5. Warranty for Limited‑Sale & Final‑Sale Items
Limited‑sale and final‑sale items may include:
-
Clearance watches
-
Discounted accessories
-
One‑off builds
-
Prototype pieces
-
Items sold “as‑is”
These items still receive SQND CITY’s limited warranty for workmanship and assembly issues, but:
-
They may have reduced or no warranty on certain components
-
They may use parts with no manufacturer warranty
-
They may not qualify for returns
-
Customers should review our Refund Policy for return eligibility on limited‑sale and final‑sale items.
6. Filing a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim:
-
Email support@sqndcity.com
-
Provide your order number
-
Describe the issue
-
Include photos or videos if possible
Claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period.

8. Shipping Costs for Warranty Repairs

-
SQND CITY covers the cost of return shipping
If the claim is denied:
-
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
9. Repairs Outside Warranty
If your item is no longer covered by warranty, SQND CITY may still offer repair services at a reasonable cost. Pricing depends on:
-
Parts required
-
Labor involved
-
Complexity of the issue
10. Limitations of Liability
SQND CITY is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, modifications, or repairs. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
