What Comes in the Box: Unboxing a SQND CITY Watch
When you buy a hand built watch from a small shop, you're taking a little bit of a leap. You can't walk into a store, pick it up, and see how it's packaged. So I want to show you exactly what shows up at your door when you order from SQND CITY.
From day one, I wanted every order to feel like opening a gift, even if you bought it for yourself.

The box
Every watch ships in a SQND CITY printed box with the logo and the Chicago star on the front. It's sturdy enough to protect the watch in transit, and honestly, it's the first thing that tells you this isn't a generic order.
US orders ship with tracking and signature confirmation, at no extra cost to you. I add that because I never want a watch sitting on a porch.
The watch roll
Inside, your watch comes in a SQND CITY leather style watch roll. It protects the watch in the box, and it's something you'll actually keep using. It's perfect for travel, a gym bag, or just keeping your watch safe on the dresser. Depending on stock, colors will very. Currently, we over black and brown rolls.

The cleaning cloth
Every order includes a SQND CITY microfiber cleaning cloth in its own branded sleeve. Sapphire crystal and polished steel love fingerprints, and this is the easiest way to keep your watch looking like the day it arrived.

The tools
This is the part people are most surprised by. I include a spring bar tool and a small screwdriver with every watch (if required). That way you can swap straps or size a bracelet at home without paying a jeweler. If you've never done it before, I wrote a step by step guide on sizing your bracelet and swapping straps right here on the blog.
The cards
Last but not least, you'll find an info card:
The Front, a thank you card from me. This business exists because people like you take a chance on a small builder, and I don't take that lightly.
The Back, a movement guide card with the basics for your watch: how to wind it, set the time, set the date, and reset the chronograph if you have one. The QR code on the back takes you straight to the full guide on my site.
You can also find all of that on the Movement Info page any time.

Why I care about this stuff
I went to art school before I got into tech, so presentation matters to me. But it's also about trust. When everything arrives organized, protected, and thought through, you know the watch inside got the same attention.
Many of the current watches I send out are a one of one, and I want the experience of opening it to feel that way too.

Have questions about shipping or packaging? Send me a message anytime. And if you've already unboxed one, I'd love to see your photos.
